man i have so much stuff in my favs that its a shame. I set my page to show random favs and this one popped up...forgot i had it.
anyways...that's a dope piece of artwork. kind of resembles the chick from the disney movie Atlantis with a little more jungle flare to it.

BTW: Love the colors.

I do all my drawing in Sketchbook Pro with a Cintiq tablet, and then take it into Photoshop for the coloring. I highly suggest taking a look at the tutorials done by my buddy :iconzatransis: at [link]

hope this helps!

the colors look great, nice job. I really like the light teal markings and green leaves, and the blends of blue and green in the bushes. even the bg color kind of sets a sunset feel to this.

Awesome work, sir. Not to detract from the figure but that terrain came out looking great!

My only crit would be to desaturate some of your shadows to eleviate the eye a bit. It's super-saturated and that get a little grueling on the eye.

Solid work, sir. Can't wait to see more!

Updated the contrast! You wouldn't have any tips on "saving for web" do ya? Since most of my work has been in pencil, I've never really run into the whole "image lightening issue" when saving for web. With this one, I lowered the brightness by ten when saving...and still looks kinda off...

When saving for web I set it on jpg, 70-80 quality. I have had a saturation issue before but not a ligthening issue. I usually find it negligible.

The bigger issue is going between CRT and LCD.

Heya- I looked into it and apparently it is a photoshop setting issue. By default, photoshop is set to view colors differently than it would in a browser. This link shows how you can adjust your settings to adjust your image in "browser view."
